Shipping & Returns

We Start Immediately:

Once we receive your order we begin finding your items and getting it ready to send to you. We do not charge your credit card until your order is ready to be shipped. However, if you have paid by check, we will hold your package until the check has cleared before we send it to you. Your orders will typically be sent out the same or the next business day.

If you need your order by a particular day, please let us know and choose an appropriate shipping method to ensure that your package will arrive on time. Don't count on us getting your order out the same day if it is important that it be there right away - let us know - just in case!

Planning ahead -

March will be a very busy month for us, with a lot of our stock out of town for Gulf Wars. Orders may be delayed during this time.

Late July and early August will be very busy times and most of our stock will be in Pennsylvania for the Pennsic War. Orders will be delayed during this time.

To get an estimated shipping rate, simply enter an item into your shopping cart along with your zip code. All shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and zip code.

We do not add handling fees to the shipping charges.

Free shipping applies to orders after all discounts are applied of $50 or more which will be shipped within the US and territories, including APOs, FPOs, Alaska and Hawaii.

Delivery/Transit Times

We forward the tracking number to you at the email you supply us when you place your order through the UPS or USPS websites. Some first class orders will not have tracking numbers.

Transit times are provided by USPS and are not guaranteed. They are generally accurate though.

UPS will not ship to PO boxes.

International Shipping:

All international shipping will ship via United States Postal System (USPS). Time in transit will vary depending on method of shipping you choose. International shipping may then be delayed due to the Customs Office in your country. First Class International packages on average take between 10 and 20 days but may take between 4 to 6 weeks to arrive.

International orders will ship by your choice of:

We mark all packages as merchandise in accordance with US federal law. International buyers are responsible for any customs, duties, taxes or fees that the buyers' country may impose. These fees or taxes are not additional shipping charges. These charges are the responsibility of our international customers and are typically due and collected upon receipt. You may contact your local Customs Office for an estimate or for more information.

We love our products, and expect that you will too. If, by any chance, you don't love your stuff, please contact us and we will help you to return or replace it.

We want to make things easy on you. So, starting in 2011 we are offering a 365 day return policy. All we ask is that you return the items to us in the original packaging, and make sure that the merchandise is in the same condition. Please include your invoice so we know who to credit. Shipping charges are not refunded.

Please contact us before returning an item to let us know if you prefer store credit, a refund*, or replacement items.

*Once your return is received and inspected (usually within 2 business days of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account. If an item is damaged in shipping to you, please contact us immediately. We may need to make a claim with UPS or USPS. Save the packaging materials in case the carrier needs to see it for the insurance claim. We will refund or replace your items based on your preference and the circumstances.

Every item is inspected before it is packed, but if a defective item manages to slip by us, please let us know right away and we will replace it with a perfect item. We may ask you to return the item (and will reimburse your shipping costs).

**Shoes, Boots and Clothing items - We encourage you to try on these items to be sure they fit. We cannot accept returns that show any signs of wear. Try on your shoes and boots but do not wear them outside until you are sure that they are the correct size. Put on the gown or doublet and move around, but don't go out in the August heat and perspire on the velvet until you are sure that you can take deep breaths without popping the stitches. We want you to be happy with all your Pillaged Village loot, and to keep coming back for more!
