This button is a replica of a button style, which was very popular in Victorian days. In those days, the wealthy could afford buttons that were hand painted miniatures upon a porcelain base. Our copy of this button is less fragile and considerably less expensive than the original. This button is button size 47, which is approximately 1-1/8 inches in diameter. The rim has an antique gold finish. They seem to be metalized buttons.
It has a shank back, which means that part of the button is a loop on the back meant for attaching the button.
Unlike traditional fabric stores where buttons are sold in pre selected amounts, we sell our buttons individually so that you may purchase exactly the amount you wish to purchase. So, if you wish to buy 6 buttons, you don't have to deal with purchasing cards of 5 buttons - you can purchase 6 buttons. The Pillaged Village wants to give you what YOU want.
Our B-050- series of buttons comes from special close-out lots. We will not be able to obtain more when we are out, so be sure to order enough at one time to complete your project. You may wish to order a few extra, since it never hurts to have a few spare buttons set aside in case a button is lost later or in case you need more than you original anticipated.
The quantity listed is based on the last time we did an actual inventory of these buttons. We take these buttons to fairs and events, and do not keep good records of which buttons are sold at these shows, so we may not have as many as we think we have. Actual quantities may be lower than the number shown.
These buttons (as well as many other items) are available in quantity to qualified retailers for wholesale purchase. Please inquire for additional information if you are interested in becoming a Pillaged Village wholesale customer.
